Haven't been here in about 1 1/2 years and the food was was great then. It's gotten better! They now serve greens!!!!! I believe it's mustard greens, but man are they gooooddddddd. I had 2 plates during the lunch Buffet. I won't wait a year to come back; maybe tomorrow for lunch

No longer my favorite Indian food in DT Sac. 😥 It's so sad when my favorite restaurants take an unexpected dive. The food is not want it used to be, rubbery microwaved naan and under seasoned food. There is no longer a buffet lunch either. Last time I dined here the service was absent for about 5 minutes after we entered and seemed bored and annoyed by us, even though there was only one other customer. This restaurant was once amazing. I won't return again. Very disappointing.

Food wars awesome the Momo's were amazingservice was really good they did have an early lunch special going on that they gave you 25% off the total and the food was really good for what I paid I got a chance to try the chicken momos which came out piping hot and butter chicken which was also amazing I will definitely be back to this place the Momo's are definitely a must-try

The wife and I typically go to Curry club for our Indian fix, since they're closed on Sunday we decided to try KKS. We were not disappointed one bit. They offer a good variety of fresh food and friendly staff.

We went for an early dinner on a Sunday night to this restaurant not too far from our house. It serves the best Indian/Nepalese food I have ever had. I had worked in an Indian community near Sacramento that has several Indian restaurants. Nothing to compare with Kathmandu. The ambience is wonderful....glass topped tables with linen table cloths and napkins. Excellent friendly service.

They say the lunch buffet is until 3pm. But we went at 2 and there was barely any food left. If you're not going to replenish the buffet at 2pm they should just say it's until the food runs out.

Buffet is excellent, but call and check, some weekdays they just decide to not offer it. Much of it will be familiar if you eat at Indian restaurants, but Momo and a few others are quite different. I have been going here for many years. If sauces were one notch less salty it would be five stars from me. Not salty by restaurant standards but it is flavorful enough I would dial back the salt and like it even more.

I go to this great spot a lot! This is the best place to grab a bite. I go to this spot many times. The meals are excellent, the staff members are helpful and the prices are good. I enjoy being in this spot to have a rich supper.

Most of the food had a nice flavor; unfortunately, it wasn't hot. The Vegetable Pakoras looked like they were deep fried yesterday, then reheated for my order. Also the Kabuli Naan looked like 2 tortillas spread w/strawberry jam.

SO disappointed. Used to have the best Korma. Was terrible last time. Waited and came back. Worse. No nuts, no raisins, no nutmeg, no cloves. No flavor. The nan was worse. Greasy, chewy, dense....ugly. Saw the server twice all night. Ugh. You can do better!.

I enjoyed Veg momos. I am rating 1 star because, I saw waiter using his bare hands to take a fist full of white rice from the plate that he will serve to a customer and put it back in the Rice cooker. I think the waiter wasn't aware I was standing behind. There is a small station adjacent to the cash register which can be viewed if you are coming back after using the restroom.

Hit or miss. You can order the same thing 3 times and get very different orders. For example I ordered from beyond menu and they brought me chicken Tikka ala carte with no rice, another time I ordered it they brought me chicken Tikka with rice but there was only 4 pieces of chicken for like 16 dollars and they took 2 hours to deliver. Good quality food but inconsistent.

Really good authentic Indian food. Great quality, friendly owner and wait staff. Quick and free delivery if that's your thing. I've tried a lot of Chicken Masalas and Kathmandu has the best hands down.
